Assessment:
A full assessment examines a child's understanding of language, vocabulary, grammar, speech skills, social skills, play skills, and may also include literacy skills.

Therapy:
Therapy is customized based on the findings of the assessment and parent's concerns. If the child has recently been assessed, then Best Start Speech Therapy may not need to conduct a full assessment prior to starting therapy.

Fees:
Service rates are within the recommendations given by the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologist. Most insurance plans cover some dollar amount of services on a yearly basis.

Location:
Services are provided in the family's home. If the child is attending full-time childcare and the childcare agrees, services can be provided in that environment.
